Mr. Pritchett was born Feb. 10, 1947, in Dover, son of Warren G.H. Pritchett Sr. and Louise Seeney Pritchett of Dover.
He worked for Reichhold Chemical for almost 30 years in the maintenance department.
He enjoyed going to horse shows and drag races, building cars, attending western movies and spending time with his family and friends. He loved all kinds of animals, raising chickens, pit bulls and emus.
Mr. Pritchett attended Immanuel Union United Methodist Church in Cheswold and was a member of the Quarter Horse Association of Delaware.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife of 35 years, Shirley Pritchett of Dover; a son and daughter-in-law, Warren G.H. Pritchett III and Beth Pritchett of Clayton; a daughter and son-in-law, Abby and Ken Reichardt of Dover; three brothers, Ronald Pritchett, Bruce Pritchett and Gordon Pritchett, all of Dover; three sisters, Janice Carney of Harrington, Sharee Pritchett of Woodside and Nina Lauer of Dover; Judy Wortham, whom he considered a daughter; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday and from 11 a.m. to noon Monday in the Immanuel Union United Methodist Church, U.S. 13 and Del. 42, Cheswold.
Services and burial will be private.
