Lorraine took this out of the paper today, she asked me if I knew who it was. I contacted Rebecca Dean Pierce, who told me this was her brother. Son of Robert Dean & Amelia Greenage.

BENJAMIN B. DEAN Former Pennsville resident Benjamin Brady Dean, 88 of Lakeland, FL, and formerly of Pennsville Township died Monday at the home of his son in Lakeland. Born in Bridgeton, he had been a lifelong area resident, living in Pennsville until moving to Lakeland in November.

He worked at DuPont's Carney's Point Works until retiring in 1973 with 37 years of service. An avid golfer, he had been a member of Beckett Golf Club, the DuPont Veterans Association and Ambassador Baptist Church, Pennsville. He most recently attended Christ Memorial Baptist Church, Lakeland.

Surviving are two sons, Thomas L. of Lakeland and George F.of Phoenix, Ariz.; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. His wife, Caroline B. Horner Dean died in 1997. A son, Clinton B., died in 1994.

Services are 10 a.m. Friday at H.T. Layton & Son Home For Funerals, 102 S. Main St.., Woodstown, where friends may call 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday. Burial will be in Sharptown Methodist Cemetery, Pilesgrove Township. Memorial contributions may be made to Memorial Fund, Ambassador Baptist Church, 50 Hook Road, Pennsville, NJ 08070.

Arthur Charles Sammons. 1st marriage to Beulah M. Ridgeway born 1898, died Jun 25, 1926 (died shortly after childbirth). Beulah is buried next to her parents at Fork Branch Cemetery in DE.

Arthur and Beulah had 3 children:

2. Arthur A. Sammons, Jr. ~1921-1985 Monday Feb. 11, 1985

Arthur A. Sammons, Jr., 64 of Fairfield Twp. died early Sunday morning Feb. 10, 1985 at the residence after having been stricken with a heart attack. Mr. Sammons had been in failing health the past three months.

Born in Delaware, he was the son of the late Arthur A. Sr. and Beulah Ridgeway Sammons and the husband of Mary L. Dean Sammons. The couple had celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary this past December.

Mr. Sammons had been employed as a carpenter and was a member of Local #121 of the Carpenter's Union, retiring in 1964 due to ill health. He was a member of several CB clubs throughout the area.

Surviving in addition to his wife are a stepdaughter, Helen Dean of Greenwich; a brother, Luther Sammons of Delaware; three sisters, Beatrice Hands and Edith Ridgeway, booth of Bridgeton, and Helen Johnson of Cheswold, De; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Services will be conducted by the Rev. Thomas W. Morgan, pastor of First Church of the Nazarene, on Wednesday at 1 p.m. from the Sray Funeral Home, Carlls Corner. Interment will be de in Fernwood Memorial Park Friends will be received Tuesday evening from 7 to 9 at the funeral home. The family request the flowers be omitted.

2. Geraldine D. Seeney, Former committeewoman

Geraldine D. Seeney, 74, of East Mount Airy, a former Democratic
committeewoman and government employee, died of heart and lung disease Friday at Grand View Hospital near Sellersville.

Mrs. Seeney was born in Philadelphia, graduated from Overbrook High School,
and attended Temple University.

She married her high school boyfriend, John W. Seeney, in 1943, and she
worked at the Philadelphia Naval Shipyard while he served in the Army. Moving
to East Mount Airy after the war, she raised two children and then became
active in local politics.

She was a former committeewoman in the 22d Ward and managed the Philadelphia
office of the late U.S. congressman Herman Toll. After Toll left office in
1966, she worked in the city office of the Pennsylvania auditor general and
as an officer in the Philadelphia municipal courts.

In retirement, she and her husband traveled throughout the United States and
toured South America and Europe. They also explored the New Jersey coast in a cabin cruiser, which they kept in Atlantic City.

She is survived by sons, John Jr. and Guy, and three grandchildren.

A viewing from 10 to 11 a.m. tomorrow at Christ Church and St. Michael's, 29
W. Tulpehocken St., will be followed by a service. Burial will be at Forest
Hills Cemetery, Byberry Road and Philmont Avenue, Huntingdon Valley.
