Mrs. Anna H. Wright, daughter of the late Brady and Julia Ridgeway, was born April 27, 1915 in the Cheswold area. Anna graduated from Delaware State College High School. She married Robert Clark. After his death, she completed two years of college while working for the Red Cross as a secretary in Washington, D.C.

Anna met and married Raymond Wright in 1963 and they moved to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She began working for Strawbridge and Clothier as a secretary for over 22 years. She retired about nine years ago, and remained in Philadelphia.
